Sending Pictures via MMS troubles.

Trying to send a picture message to an email address and it not working?

Here is the reason:

If you are sending a picture message to the email that is also your Apple ID it will not send to you inbox. The reason? iMessage. If you go into your send/receive settings on the phone (settings- messages- send & receive) you will see your Apple ID email checked. When you send the picture message Apple iMessage thinks you are trying to send an MMS and will send it to you as a MMS.

 To get it to send to email you must use an email that is not associated with the apple id.
