Is your date and time show weirdly? If so it could be that your International Calendar is not on the correct year.
Go to Settings
Go to General
Go to International- Calendar
Gregorian is the default and will have your calendar at the correct year (ie 2013)
Japanese will show your date and time as:
Buddhist will show your date and time as:
