With all the books and tools out there I thought I would do
an iBooks book/magazine of the week.
So here is this week’s iBook of the week.
“The Unofficial Siri Handbook” by GadChick is my choice for
this week. This book will give you some of the basic things you can do with
Siri and it isn’t a long book. It is more like a pocket guide to Siri if you
will.
The Contents are sweet and easy to navigate. All you have to
do is glance at the topic and boom you will have how to work Siri for that
topic. Since this week’s Siri tip was about relationships and Contacts so we
will use that as the example.
Get the Book:
- Open iBooks:
- Tap the Store:
- Search for GadChick and you will see the Unofficial Siri Guide or go to https://itunes.apple.com/us/book/the-unofficial-siri-handbook/id482780406?mt=11 to download it on your computer:
- Once it is downloaded you can click open or close out.
Open the iBook:
- Go to iBooks:
- Scroll (if you have other books) through till you see the Unofficial Guide then tap:
- The Contents page will load (if not you should see in the top the icon next to Library and it will take you back to the contents page)
- Select your topic, in this case Address Book:
- Here you will see all the options that Siri can do for the contacts:
Tip if you don’t see your book in the list check the middle
icon under the time it should say books. If not tap it and select Books in your
Collection.
