 iPhone and Yahoo Verification

When adding an Yahoo email to the iPhone sometimes the phone/Yahoo will tell you that you will need to get Verification with Yahoo in order for the email to work.

• To do this you will need to login to http://mail.yahoo.com:

• Login and select the Hi! section and select Yahoo Account Info:

• Confirm your password:

• Select Manage Apps and Website Connections

• Select Yahoo mail for iPhone and if there is no option to approve select remove and you should be able to receive and send email from your iphone.

Music Not Syncing to iPhone

Music not sycing?

If your music is not syncing to your iPhone the first place to check is to make sure that it shows a check mark next to Sync Music when your iphone is connected to itunes.

If you have a check mark next to Sync Music but it is not showing all of your music go to your music library and look next to the song if you see then your music is on the cloud. You will need to download the songs in order for the music library to show all the songs.

Battery Percentage

To see your battery percentage on your iphone simply:

• Go to Settings

• Go to General

• Go to Usage

• Turn on Battery Percentage

• In the Top Right hand corner you will see a percentage next to the battery now:

Find My iPhone Update

Sorry for the delay but there has been an update in the Find My iPhone and iCloud! You can now get driving directions to your phone.

Simply click on the car next to your name and the Maps app will open up and show you how to get to your phone!

Create a Ringtone on Audiko.net

• Go to Audiko.net

• Select either upload or enter the URL 

• Edit the clip to the part you want as a ringtone then select create ringtone

• Click Save and Continue

• Click the Download link

• Once it downloads open the location where it is saved 

• Drag and drop the file into iTunes

• Sync your iphone and it will be on your phone. 

Turning on Photo Stream and iCloud on a Mac

You must be running version 10.7.4 or later. 

To find out what version of Mac you are running follow these steps: 

• Click the Apple in the top left corner

• Select About this Mac

• Here you will see what version you are running.

To Turn on iCloud: 

• Go to System Preferences on the Dock 

• (if it is not in the dock go to finder then Applications and System Preferences) 

• Select iCloud

• Log in using your Apple ID and Password 

• Select Next

• Select Allow

• Wait for the options to be fully checked including photostream if need be click the box next to PhotoStream to turn it on. 

To See PhotoStream Content: 

• Open iPhoto

• Click the PhotoStream on the left hand side

• Click turn on

• Click Switch if necessary

• Any and all photos will now show here.

Home Sharing on iTunes

Home sharing is a cool feature on iTunes with multiple purposes.

Let's say you have an old computer and just upgraded. If you turn on Home Sharing on your old computer you can see your library on the new computer and drag and drop transferring files with ease. 

You can listen to your music on any computer in your network without having to be at the main computer. 

To Turn on Home Sharing: 

• Go to iTunes

• Go to File- Home Sharing

• Log in with your Apple ID and password

• Select Turn on Home Sharing

• Home Sharing is now on. 

•  Also go to Preferences (On a PC Edit-Preferences; On a Mac Select the iTunes Preferences); then select Sharing

• Select Share my library on my local network and home sharing boxes; then click ok

• Your Shared library will now appear on any other computer under Shared: 

• Select which songs you want to transfer and drag to your music library
