Seting up Gmail as an Exchange Account
To get the contacts from your gmail account onto your iPhone you have to set the account up as an Exchange.
- Go to Settings
- Go to Mail, Contacts and Calendars
- Add Account
- Select Exchange
- Fill out your name, email address and Password then click next
- Fill in Server and User name. Server is m.google.com Click Next
- Account will verify
- Select if you want mail, contacts and calendar on then click save
- Account then will verify and be added to your list of accounts
