ios6 Update

iOS 6 Update:

OTA:

1)      BE CONNECTED TO WIFI!

2)      BE CONNECTED TO POWER SOURCE!

3)      Go to Settings

4)      Go to General

5)      Go to Software Update

6)      It will state that there is an update select start update:  be advised process could take up to one hour!!!

 

7)      Once update is completed it will ask customer to install update: 

8)      Customer will see the following screens once the update is completed:

a.       Apple logo (they may see this twice) it is just the iphone updating and installing the new software and also restoring from previous backup

b.      Update Complete screen:

c.       Enable location services screen:

d.      Sign into either icloud or itunes screen  (they need to enter their username and password)

e.      Then they will receive and Update Completed Screen.

FYI the passbook doesn’t seem to be working right now. It takes you to the app store and just sits there.
