Find My iPhone

iCloud Find My iPhone:

1.      Go to http://www.icloud.com and log in:

2.      Select Find My iPhone:

3.      Enter Password:

4.      iCloud will then locate your device and give you the location. You can select different views (Standard, Satellite or Hybrid and zoom in or out). If you have multiple devices you can select the device and it will load if it has the find my iphone/ipad or macbook turned on.:


5.      Select the info button to get more options:




6.      Select your option and a message; sound etc will be sent to the phone. The phone must be turned on, and have service in order for any of these options to work. If it does not at the time the message is sent the server will wait till the phone is in network or turned on and sent the message.


7.      If you select Play Sound or Send Message it will look like this :

                   iPhone/iPad will show the following (the sound alert will override any silent option on the phone):

If you chose Remote Lock Enter Password of your choice (you will have to confirm or re-enter passcode once you re-enter it the lock option will turn blue select Lock):


When you slide to unlock the password screen will come up:



An email will also be sent:


If you select Remote Wipe it will remove all data from the phone.

8.      To Remove an item from the Find my iPhone; Click the x next to the item you want to remove:



9.      Select Remove: (Item will be removed)
