Share Photos via Facebook and Twitter

To share photos to Facebook and Twitter that  you have taken it is a simple process:

Facebook: 

There are actually two ways. If you are doing multiple pictures the best way is: 


  • Go to photos:



  • Go to Camera Roll:



  • Select Edit in the top corner:



  • Select the Photos you want to post and select Share in the bottom left hand corner:



  • Select Facebook:



  • Type in a description or what you want to say and select post:



Photos will be on your timeline and under the Folder labeled iOS Photos

The other way is: 


Go to photos:

Go to Camera Roll:

Select the photo you wish to post:

Select the box with the arrow pointing to the right:

Select Facebook:

Type in a description or what you want to say and select Post:

To post to Twitter: 

  • Go to Photos:


  • Go to Camera roll:


  • Go to the picture you want to Tweet: 


  • Select the box in the bottom left hand corner that has an arrow: 


  • Select Twitter: 


  • Enter your tweet and select send:

Privacy Section

The Privacy section in settings is the area you want to go in to control what apps see/use various information on your phone.

For example Location Services this will show what apps are authorized to use your Location or transmit your location.

To edit/update those settings: 


  • Go to settings: 



  • Select Privacy: 



  • Select the section you want to view: 



  • Tap the On/Off switch to turn the service on/off:

Do Not Disturb

When iOS 6.0 came out Apple created a feature called Do Not Disturb.

To access/setup: 


  • Go to Settings:



  • Turn on Do Not Disturb: 



To specify Times and Conditions:


  • Go to Settings:


 

  • Go to Notifications: 




  • Select Do Not Disturb : 

  • Turn Scheduled on to set the Do Not Disturb to occur during specific times: 




    • You can turn on times for it to be "activated" This means that during those times calls/texts/tweets/notifications will not come through. 


    • You can set an Allow option which will bypass the Do Not Disturb for callers in that section.


    • You can also have it set that if a person calls you twice in 3 mins they will not be ignored/silenced.

Deleting Photos

Depending on how you add the photos there are certain ways to delete the photos. 

If you added photos from your computer: 

  • Go to iTunes






  • Click on iPhone

  • Click on Photos 






  • Uncheck Sync Photos or you can uncheck various folders/categories depending on your setup (this is the same process if you want to add photos only check the Sync Photos box)





Be sure to click Sync/Apply at the bottom right hand corner for the change to actually take place on your phone! 

From the Camera Roll: 

There are two ways to delete photos from the Camera Roll on the Phone. 

The First: 

  • Open Camera Roll folder

 
  • Click Edit in the top Right hand corner


  • Select Photos you want deleted 




  • Click Delete in bottom Right hand Corner then click Delete Selected Photos. 



 The Second:

  • Open Camera Roll folder

 
  • Select the Photo


  • In the bottom Right hand corner you will see a trash can select it 



  •  Select Delete Photo: 



 To delete Albums or Photo Streams:

 Albums: 

  • In the Top right hand corner select edit:

  • Select the Red circle: 



  •  Select Delete: 


  • Confirm Deletion: 

Photo Stream: 


  • Select Photo Stream at the bottom:



  • Select the blue circle next to the Photo Stream you want to Delete:



  • Select Delete Photo Stream: 



  • Confirm Deletion
