Notifications and iPhone

With the iOS6 Update Notifications have changed. They have their own settings in Settings and come in a variety of options. Here are those options:

• Go to settings

• Go to Notifications

• Select Notification type (mail, or a specific App); you may have to even select account name if you have multiple emails

• The notification Screen will look like this:

• Notification Center means it will show up on the grey screen that comes down when you slide your finger from the top to the bottom

• Alert Style

• None- means nothing will show up
• Banners will look like this

• Alerts will look like this

• Badge App Icon is the red circle that appears like this

• Sound- they can change for each account if they would like
• View in Lock screen pops up an alert in the lock screen that looks like this
