Transfering Photos

Let's face it Pictures are priceless memories. If something happens to the phone all your photos and memories are gone forever.

iTunes does sync photos but let's face it very few of us actually have our photos syncing.

Here is how to transfer photos from the iPhone to the Windows computer:

  • Connect your iphone to the computer

  • Click the start button

  • Select Computer/My Computer

  • Double click Apple iPhone

  • Double click Internal Memory

  • Double click DCIM

  • This is all the folders that contain your pictures drag and drop to your selected folder.

Transfering Photos to Mac:

There are two ways to transfer to a MAC.

The first way is the basic way which is once you connect the iPhone to the Mac computer iPhoto pops up. When iPhoto comes up simply click import photos and it will place them in your library by date.

The second way is by opening Finder selecting Applications then select Image Capture

Once you have Image Capture up you should see your iPhone in the list on the left and you select import photos. To change where you want photos imported simply click the bottom left and designate where they are going.
