Seems silly I know but lets say you left an important presentation on your home laptop or you were in the middle of updating and wanted to check the progress. You can access your PC/Mac straight from your iPhone.
There are several apps out there that work and some that costs money. I used Go to My PC and their free trial for this post.
- Obviously make sure that your pc/mac has the software on the computer that is needed to remote in. http://gotomypc.com/
- Download the iPhone App: Go to the APP Store
- Search, Enter Go to MyPC, Select install then open
- Login to the app
- Select your PC/Mac
- Sign into your PC/Mac
- Navigate as you normally would.
